1. Civil works

Our civil engineering technologists assist our clients in planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining wide variety of oil and gas facilities. These facilities may include production plants, pumping and compressor stations, pipelines, storage facilities-tanks-reservoirs, oil and gas well sites, engineering support to drilling and production sites. There are several key tasks we usually offer our clients; 1) Civil Construction Engineering Technologists this includes consulting for construction projects including work plans estimates, local contractor selection, inspection, resources and materials, and project reports; 2) Civil Engineering Technologists, mining and investigations this includes provide technological services for surface water hydrology and hydraulics, drainage, flood control, water supply, dam and industrial wastewater processes design; 3) Materials Geotechnical Technologists, which include geotechnical soil and rock testing services and apply the use of materials such as rock, soil, concrete, steel, wood, asphalt, metals and polymers on engineering construction projects; 4) Drafting/CADD/3D Modeling Technologists, we create conceptual and detailed engineering drawings and calculations for a variety of structures including drilling oil and gas platforms; 5) Survey Technologists, we develop survey and mapping standards. They also inspect survey contractor work and review survey findings.

2. Environmental Impact Assessment

Peshanku has extensive experience in carrying out EIAs. Our experience is gained form practical involvements offering solution to various EIA tasks and encompasses a wide range of sectors: roads, airports, ports, bridges, industries, oil and gas facilities, waste, wind farms and other renewable energies. We also perform EIAs in connection with urban and regional planning. We facilitate EIAs for international, regional and local customers, including financial institutions, private companies, and public authorities. We used EIA processes to prevent environmental damages, effects, compare alternatives, identify appropriate mitigation measures and facilitate informed decision making. An EIA must comply with the prevailing legislation and/or guidelines and will typically include the following: 1) Detailed project description, noting the sources and impacts of environmental disturbances; 2) complete list of alternatives, including those rejected and detailed examination of those under serious consideration; 3) Description of the project environment, including the fauna, flora, air, soil, water, socio-economics and cultural heritage; 4) Detailed examination of the nature and scope of potential impacts, temporary and permanent, local and regional; 5) Proposal of mitigation measures based on potential impacts; 6) Description of any assumptions and limitations of the EIA or unknown factors; 7) Non-technical summary of the project and the findings of the EIA written for non-experts and decision makers.

4. Project Management

Project management is prescriptive way in which an engineering project is guided from start to finish. All project management plans examine the five project constraints: scope, time, cost, quality, and risk. The details of a plan will vary depending on the complexity of the project. For instance, a project to build a set of kitchen cabinets would, in most cases, have very generalized plan, while a project built a bridge, dam or a tunnel at international standards would have a more in-depth, comprehensive plan. 6. Core Analysis

Rock core analysis gives the most accurate insight into the porosity and permeability, among other characteristics, of the well. We in Peshanku work with several types of cores that can be recovered from the well, including full-diameter cores, oriented cores, native state cores and sidewall cores. We used rock cores analysis procedures not only to define the porosity and permeability of the reservoir rock, but also to unearth the fluid saturation and grain density. All of these measurements help geologists, engineers and drillers better to understand the conditions of the well and its potential productivity. We usually involves measuring the reservoir characteristics to determine permeability, wettability and capillary pressure, and electrical characteristics to understand resistivity, formation factor and cation-exchange capacity. Petrographic studies and sieve analysis are also types of special core analysis that can be undertaken.
